As an affiliate group to the Cleveland Museum of Arm the Textile Art Alliance raises funds to enlarge the museum’s textile collection. As the museum already holds a comprehensive selection of Ward’s work, these 30 pieces were donated to the Textile Art Alliance as a fund raiser.

This collection represents Evelyn Svec Ward’s work from 1965 – 1983. As a member of the Art Fabric Movement, she broke the traditional boundaries in fabric art.  Truly a woman ahead of her time, her pieces are in public and private collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Arts and Design, Cleveland Museum of Art, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and Philadelphia Museum of Art among others.
