Conceived by Bill Rudman with Eric Coble “Songs are the pulse of a nation’s heart,” said lyricist Yip Harburg, and you’ll feel the heartbeat in this revue celebrating the social conscience of the American musical. Themes include intolerance, economic disparities, the environment and workers’ rights – set to 75 years worth of remarkable words and music by George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Harburg and other great songwriters. Witty, satirical, defiant and stirring.
