The works of Hungarian born artist Joseph Domján are incredibly imaginative, highly decorative, richly textured and brilliantly colored, and are in the collections of major museums around the world.
The Cleveland Hungarian Heritage Museum's Centennial Exhibition of Domján's works includes aubusson tapestries, color and black and white woodcut prints, woodblocks, oil painting, and publications from the Domján Studios in Tuxedo Park, New York, the Dennos Museum Center in Traverse City, Michigan, as well as from private collections. We invite collector's of fine arts to view this rich and extensive collection which includes original works of Domján offered for sale at an Opening Reception on April 14, 2007 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public. Located on the second floor of the Galleria at Erieview,the Museum's regular hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday from 11-3, and Friday from 11-5.
