Peter, Paul and Mary are the heart and soul of pure acoustic folk - like hearing from an old friend you haven't seen for a long time. They gave voice to a social movement and some of the greatest pop tunes, including Puff, the Magic Dragon, If I Had a Hammer, Leaving On A Jet Plane, Where Have all the Flowers Gone, and Blowin' in the Wind. With all the fun and explosive joy inherent in a music filled with stories from the past, love and historical ballands, children's songs and work songs, there is also a continuing thread or message that explains why Peter, Paul and Mary are still together, filled with hope and free of cynicism.
