East Coast Jitterbug - Beginner (Swing I) - 7:00-8:15 PM - Learn the proper lead/follow dance connection in this "down to the basics" dance class. The class will concentrate on good weight distribution and proper frame, everything you need for the connection dances as well as some basic East Coast Jitterbug moves. Partners are not required.
Lindy Hop (Boot Camp) - 8:30-9:45 PM - The "original" swing dance; the one that makes you shine! If you are a beginner or looking to polish your dance, this class will concentrate on basics with some classic moves. This 8-count dance from the 1930's originated in the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem, N.Y. Some basic Jitterbug experience is recommended. Partners are not required.
Cost: Single - $50
Couple - $90
