Portrait Sculpting Workshop with Philippe Faraut - As our guest instructor during our Portrait Showcase, May 10 thru June 22, 2008, Philippe Faraut from Honeoye, NY will be teaching his clay portrait sculpting seminar at PAA on May 16-18, 2008. This workshop includes lectures on anatomy, emphasizing bone structure, and discussions on expression and ethnic differences. Three days of intensive work are spent sculpting a head in water-based clay with step-by-step instruction. All materials are provided for use during the seminar.
