The University of Akron Opera Theatre, directed by James Mismas, presents two great comic
masterpieces: Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi," and Gilbert and Sullivan's "Trial by Jury," Thursday -
Saturday, April 10-12 in UA's Guzzetta Hall, 157 University Ave, across from E.J. Thomas Hall. With
the UA Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Guy Victor Bordo.
Thursday and Friday performances at 8 p.m. Saturday performance at 2 p.m.
The opera is part of UA's Kulas Concert Series. Tickets are $10 general, $8 UA faculty/staff/parents
of UA students/alumni, $5 non-UA students, free for UA students with Zip Card.
