Mark your calendars for a special Service of Music on Sunday, April 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Old Stone Church, where the premier of Old Stone Church Music Director William Shaffer’s "Mass in C" will be presented. The piece will feature the Bellflower String Quartet, the fine sounds of the Old Stone Choir conducted by Robert Baggs, and William Shaffer on the organ. The work features all new music in the style of Haydn or Mozart, using the words of the traditional Latin mass. From the somber opening of the Kyrie, to the resplendent harmonies of the Gratias, to the ominous-sounding Credo, to the peaceful and serene Sanctus, this is a presentation you will not want to miss!
