Soprano Laurie Lashbrook will be in recital Saturday, April 19 at 5:30 p.m. in The University of
Akron School of Music's Guzzetta Recital Hall. Lashbrook is preparing for a tour of Italy, and will be
singing works by Wolf, Martinu, Kaprálova, Britten and Rachmaninoff. She is joined by pianist Kim
Bakkum.
Dr. Lashbrook is chair of the Voice Department at The University of Akron. The concert is free and
open to the public. Guzzetta Recital Hall is located at 157 University Ave., across from E.J. Thomas
