The WVIZ/PBS Televised Auction kicks off on May 8. Viewers and supporters of WVIZ/PBS can shop from the comforts of home for a variety of items including: antiques, wine, jewelry, art, vacation getaways, appliances and gift certificates. All proceeds support WVIZ/PBS.
The 2008 WVIZ/PBS Televised Auction starts Thursday, May 8 and runs through the evening of Sunday, May 11. The non-stop bidding fun begins at 3pm on Thursday and Friday, and at noon on Saturday and Sunday - for over 40 hours of live auction programming.
Volunteers and item donations are both needed. A variety of volunteer positions exist and offer the opportunity to witness a live TV show being produced. All donations are tax-deductible.
