Commemoration service to recognize those who gave their lives to create and defend Israel, includes IDF soldiers and the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Musical Ensemble
2. Yom Ha'atzmaut (7-9 p.m.) family-friendly, all welcome
Huge celebration to mark the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948; enjoy activities for all ages: games, festive songs with the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces Musical Ensemble, food courts with kosher food for purchase and café-style seating,stilt walkers and much more
3. Yom Ha'atzmaut After Hours with Hadag Nahash (9 p.m.)
This sensational band has been topping the Israeli music charts since 2000. They'll be here to deliver their musical fusion of hip hop, funk, jazz, electro, rock and a touch of Middle Eastern flavor. (And the concert is free!) Check out "The Sticker Song" on YouTube.
