Explore still life and shallow space in the gardens of Holden’s core where deep space, natural pattern, color, texture and form provide challenge. Learn to balance color, pattern, contrast, texture and sensitivity to color preferences. Please bring a portable easel and drawing board to the first class as well as extra soft vine charcoal, a French stump, a kneaded eraser, masking tape and Bristol paper. Supplies discussed on the first day. All levels of experience are welcome. ART346
