Become a land steward for a day as you assist Hilmer on this wildflower identification hike and experience first hand how the Conservation Department manages our natural areas. Explore the Shadybrook stream restoration project and get hands on experience protecting forest wildflowers by removing invasive species. This rugged hike is a rain or shine event with stream crossings and hills. Dress in long pants, work/garden gloves, hat and sturdy waterproof shoes or boots and bring bottled water. Return in time for lunch (on your own) and to browse Plant Sale for native wildflowers nurtured and sold by Holden volunteers. Each participant or family receives a free Holden wildflower. Ages 12 and up NAT274
