Description: Stan Hywet, in partnership with The Ohio Shakespeare Festival, presents its summer season of Shakespeare and musical theater under the stars on the grounds of this beautiful, historic country estate. This year’s offerings include Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona, and Hamlet, as well as the comedy I Hate Hamlet.
This year, we are offering reserved, unassigned seating, in the first 100 seats closest to the stage. All seating (Open & Reserved) is first come, first served. Special ticket prices are offered for purchase of multiple shows; contact our Ticket Office at 330-315-3287 for additional information.
The front gate will be open at 6:00 pm, and you are welcome to come in and picnic on the grounds. The cafe will be open and will sell sandwiches, drinks and other snacks. Please do not bring alcoholic beverages onto the property, for we are not licensed for you to do so. The cafe will be selling beer and wine.
Also included is a “greenshow” at 7:30pm (performances all begin at 8pm) , a pre-performance opening act and time-honored tradition in Shakespearean theater.
The performances are held rain or shine; so please dress for the weather.
