Frogs, Hogs & Dogs May 22 - September 28, 2008 Open Daily
Whether you prefer warty toads from Puerto Rico, portly pigs from Africa or crooning canines from the Land Down Under, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has something for you with its next big attraction. "Frogs, Hogs & Dogs" will captivate Zoo visitors in Summer 2008 with its unique collection of exotic animals, including endangered amphibians like Panamanian golden frogs and Puerto Rican crested toads, brilliantly colored red river hogs from the bush of Africa and extremely rare New Guinea singing dogs from the forests of Australia.
"Frogs, Hogs & Dogs" promises a hopping, snorting, singing good time for everyone this summer! Check out dozens of frogs and toads at new exhibits in The RainForest, Wolf Wilderness and Australian Adventure. And - for the first time ever at the Zoo - encounter a pair of wily red river hogs at the Pachyderm Building and a melodious pack of singing dogs taking up residence in Australian Adventure.
So croak, squeal or sing your way to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for "Frogs, Hogs & Dogs" opening Thursday, May 22, 2008.
Also opening on May 22, in celebration of the Year of the Frog, kids of all ages can visit the Zoo's new A-MAZE-ING AMPHIBIANS MAZE presented by Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital. The 1800-square-foot amphibian-themed maze is located near the Zoo's front entrance in the African Savanna (for more info, see the A-MAZE-ING AMPHIBIANS exhibit page).
