The Pine Box Boys are a four man accoustic outfit that deliver loud "bluegrassy" clatter in the form of songs about murder, misery, runaway hearses, necrophilia, cannibalism, and love. Hailing from that American hippie bastion of San Francisco, they are poised to release their new album this spring on Hi Horse Records.
Perfectly complementing the Pine Box Boys are Akrons Misery Jackals. Emerging out of both the rural smoky hollers and urban ghetto dive bars are a rag tag bunch of punk rockers and hillbillies. Always vigilant for their next meal, the Misery Jackals know that there is nothing finer than brainwashing an entire nation about WMDs or trading the last can of baby formula for a rock of crack. Yum. Delicious. Beware, the Misery Jackals are coming.
