Summer Special Exhibition:

Textile tArts: Flavors of Fiber

May 17 - June 29, 2008 (open during special summer hours: Wednesday-Friday, 11:00am to 2:00pm; Saturday, 12:00 noon to 4:00pm)

Creating contemporary art incorporating textiles is the focus for the Textile tArts, whose membership is comprised of emerging, mid-career and mature artists. In their first exhibition since the groups’ inception in 2005, Lois Carroll, Christy Gray, Susanne Gregg, Christine Mauersberger, Jill Milenski, Gayle Pritchard, Tina Rossi-Petrone and Susan Shie present an eclectic array of artwork utilizing a broad range of media. This exhibit is one of three contemporary textile exhibitions in Northeast Ohio this summer.  Presented by Stocker Arts Center

Artist as Quiltmaker at Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA) - May 18 - August 2, reception May 18, 2:00 to 4:00pm

The Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery is open during exhibitions on Mondays through Fridays from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. The gallery is also open for many of the Stocker Arts Center evening and weekend events.
