May Guest Drinker: Larry Tyler
The May Guest Drinker is Larry Tyler, the Founder of Kinetic Technologies. He thought that he was going to buy a company here in Cleveland, but the owner he was dealing with was a classic Mad Scientist with unrealistic expectations.
So Larry went the way of the boot strap start up. Then a very curious thing happened, he heard the voice of the customer. A very specific niche appeared in the material handling space and he was off to the races.
Five years later the company is undergoing incredible transitions. They have made major infrastructure commitments and moved all their manufacturing in house. The number of employees has increased ten fold. Many opportunities abound to do great things at the risk of great peril.
Join us in May as Larry bears all and tells his business story.
The home of The Gorilla Group has been the Market Ave Wine Bar for the last five plus years. It is a great venue, with a generous staff and a entreprenurial owner. Unfortunately they have lost their lease and will have to move in October of this year.
The Gorilla Group hopes to move with The Wine Bar to its new location, but that is up in the air at the moment. Therefore we are doing our Due Diligence on potential new homes for the organization.
We are looking for three things:
* Central to downtown Cleveland
* A private meeting room with a familial feeling
* Great food and drink
