Bombardier Beetles are ground beetles with an impressive defense mechanism: They use a chemical mixture to ward off predators. Join Museum naturalists at the Blakeslee/Barrows Preserve to search for, and to observe and identify, this unusual beetle species. We will undoubtedly discover additional invertebrates during this interesting field foray.
