The 20th Annual Ohio City Home Tour May 18, to Feature Favorites From the Past and a New Art Fair
Join us for Weekend in Ohio City 2008, as Cleveland’s historic west side neighborhood unrolls the welcome mat for its annual spring tradition—which, this year, sees the Ohio City Home Tour celebrating its 20th anniversary and Evening in Ohio City turning 15!
In honor of these significant anniversaries, this year Weekend in Ohio City will be featuring some of the most interesting, eclectic and popular homes from the past two decades. Attendees will be sure to see some of their favorites from years gone by, which will complement some newcomers that illustrate the neighborhood’s ongoing renaissance.
New to this year’s weekend is an art fair sponsored by Lutheran Hospital. Located in the atrium lobby of the hospital on West 25th Street, the art fair will feature a collection of works by some of Northeast Ohio’s most prominent artists—all for sale, and all on display beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. Attendees of Evening in Ohio City will get a sneak preview of the art before embarking on their tour and be able to participate in an artwork raffle. Trolleys on the Sunday Home Tour will make regular stops at Lutheran to enable participants to check out the works and meet the artists.
The 20th annual Ohio City Home Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 18, which will feature eight to 10 additional homes. This year, Ohio City block clubs will be selling refreshments at various points along the tour route to complement the offerings of the numerous neighborhood restaurants open for lunch and dinner that day.

Admission to the Home tour is $15 if purchased before 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, May 14, or $20 on the day of the event at the ticket booth on the corner of Market Avenue and West 25th Street (just across the street from the West Side Market). Children 12 and under are free. Plenty of free parking is available for the Sunday tour in the Market lot.
