This is the "Year of the Frog", a campaign launched by global and regional conservation
organizations supporting initiatives intended to save endangered amphibians. One half to one
third of all amphibian species are threatened with extinction due to habitat loss, clmiate change,
pollution and pesticides, over-collection and disease. This exhibition will showcase the
Museum's collections to educate visitors about the amphibian crisis and how they can "Leap into
Actino" to help.
