Wayne Center for the Arts, in collaboration with the North Coast Woodturners (NCWT) and the Buckeye Woodworkers & Woodturners (BWWT) clubs is hosting their first annual juried woodturning show, and the winning pieces will be on display at Wayne Center for the Arts, located at 237 S. Walnut St., Wooster, OH.
From July 11 through August 22, the three winning pieces from each of the following seven categories will be displayed: Platters, Vessels, Bowls, Boxes and Lidded Containers, Spindle Turnings, Segmented Turnings, and Sculpture/Miscellaneous.
There will also be solo exhibits by David Floyd, Hurshel Smith and Joseph R. Smith. Also on display, will be pieces from the Ohio Agricultural Research & Development Center’s collection of saucers crafted from exotic woods.
An opening reception will be held on July 11 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Arts Center. For more info call 330-264-2787.
