Ohio City Gardeners’ 2008 Tour of Urban Oases Is Sunday, July 20
Eight enchanting urban gardens will be featured on the Ohio City Gardeners’ Fifth Annual Garden Tour on Sunday, July 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tickets with the map of gardens on the self-guided walking tour will be available on tour day at the starting point of the tour (3904 Bridge Avenue, Cleveland Oh 44113) for $10 each. Convenient street parking is available for those who wish to drive to gardens or reach points of information by both foot and car. Homeowners welcome questions and comments about their gardens.
Ohio City is one of Cleveland’s most historic neighborhoods located just west of downtown Cleveland. The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of historic homes, shops, restaurants and Cleveland’s famed West Side Market. Ohio City can be reached via the Shoreway, I-90, Lorain Avenue or Detroit Avenue.
