Not to be deterred by the cancellation of the MOCA event which was to be our first NEOphytes get-together, we have planned an even more NEOlicious event for you north coast newbies. It's Cleveland 101 - The Whirlwind Tour.
Come join fellow NEOphytes on an entertaining tour of Cleveland's most famous landmarks, eclectic neighborhoods and hidden scenic gems on Lolly the Trolley, a Northeast Ohio original and a getting-to-know-Cleveland prerequisite. We will be departing from the Powerhouse on the West Bank of the Flats at 2:00 pm for this 2-hour narrated tour which will take us through the Flats, historic Ohio City, University Circle with a stop at the Rockefeller Greenhouse, and more. Afterwards, we will head over to a local restaurant (to be announced) for drinks, grub and mingling.
Seating on the tour is limited, and reservations are required. To reserve a spot, call (216) 771-4484 or 1-800-848-0173. Please mention that you are with the NEOphytes group (so that we can get an accurate count of how many are coming) and that you are reserving a spot on the July 19th, 2 pm sightseeing tour. Tickets are $17. Food and drink after the tour are extra.
