The 35th Annual Johnny Appleseed Festival sponsored by Kia Motors officially kicks off the apple harvest season at Mapleside Farms, 294 Pearl Rd. in Brunswick, Ohio - www.mapleside.com. Fun for the whole family includes horse drawn hay rides through the apple orchard, stage bands, 4 acre corn maze, 80 craft exhibitors, outdoor barbeque with apple butter BBQ ribs, bag your own apples, and lots of amazing food - apple dumplings, caramel apples, apple pies, kettle korn, fudge, and more. Admission is just $3 for adults, $1 for ages 7-12 and free for ages 6 and under. Mapleside Farms is a 100 acre working apple farm with a rustic beamed restaurant, farm market, bakery, craft shop and ice cream parlor.
