“JAZZ at the Rockefeller Greenhouse”
features two great jazz ensembles,
an expanded art show and children’s activities,
a trolley tour thru The Cultural Gardens, and more!
WHAT: 6th annual JAZZ at the Rockefeller Greenhouse
WHEN: Saturday, Sept 6, Noon - 5 pm. Concert begins at 1 pm and ends at 4:30 pm
WHERE: City of Cleveland’s Rockefeller Park Greenhouse, 750 E. 88th St. (the top of the hill, off Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., just south of I-90).
JAZZ’S MOTTO: “Tour the Grounds! Dig the Sounds!”
DETAILS: The FREE concert will feature local jazz ensembles Annette Keys & Road Trip (trio) and members of the Jazz Heritage Orchestra, based out of the Black Studies Program at Cleveland State University. Other JAZZ elements: an art show produced in partnership with Sankofa Fine Art Plus; Lolly the Trolley rides through the Cultural Gardens; a voter registration table; and a children’s center. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Light refreshments will be available for sale and benefit children’s programming at the Greenhouse.
