“Political Issues” at PAA
Peninsula Art Academy is hosting an exhibit entitled “Political Issues”, October 4 thru November 29, 2008. Meet the Artists Reception, Saturday October 4, 2008, 5-8pm. Works have been accepted on their political relevance to our current election year. Nothing too outlandish, as we are located in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our own Don Getz, area artist extraordinaire, will jury this show. “The challenge to me is to take a traditional subject and use what is there to create an even more fascinating image – my personal statement. (Don Getz).” So, what is this election all about? Let’s let the artists tell us? All media represented, both 2 and 3D.
