Moss had the audience rockin' and jivin' as he moved into the crowd, entertaining them with his own brand of the music." -- Chicago Tribune
"Energetic, a strong guitarist, and always a crowd pleaser." Buddy Guy

Joe "plays heads and shoulders above most contenders!" -- Vintage Guitar Player Magazine
Promising talent out of Chicago, Joe gained entry into the world of blues from famous guitarist Buddy Scott. Scott spotted Moss during a jam session at a Chicago blues club and promptly put him to work as a member of his Rib Tip band. Joe toured Spain with Buddy (and also recorded with him), and became an in-demand sideman with many of Chicago’s hardest working bands. Touring gave Joe exposure outside of the U.S. in Canada, Turkey, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, France and Germany.
Now fronting his own combo, the buzz continues to build about this hardworking band leader. His stop in Cleveland has him on the stage at Fat Fish Blue, Saturday, September 13. A modest cover charge ($8 at the door) promises a night of authentic Chicago blues with a musician on the rise. On a side note, Joe's brother is Nick Moss, of Nick Moss and the Flip Tops, a band that has performed on stage at Fat Fish Blue Cleveland numerous times over the past decade.
