“Political Issues” at PAA Peninsula Art Academy is hosting an exhibit entitled “Political Issues”, October 4 thru November 29, 2008. Works have been accepted on their political relevance to our current election year. Nothing too outlandish, as we are located in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our own Don Getz, area artist extraordinaire, will jury this show. “The challenge to me is to take a traditional subject and use what is there to create an even more fascinating image – my personal statement. (Don Getz).” So, what is this election all about? Let’s let the artists tell us? All media represented, both 2 and 3D.
Show Hours: 11am to 5pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday and when Studio Artists are present or classes are held. Call PAA for special tours or appointments, 330-657-2248.
