Mary Doria Russell speaks on Writing and the Creative Process.
Mary Doria Russell is the author of The Sparrow, Children of God, A Thread of Grace, and Dreamers of the Day. Her novels have won nine national and international literary awards. The Sparrow was selected as one of Entertainment Weekly`s ten best books of the year and A Thread of Grace was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize.
Meet the author, hear her read from her works and learn how she selects the topics for her books.
This series for aspiring authors is presented in conjunction with The Lit (formerly the Poets`and Writers` League of Greater Cleveland) and is generously funded by Friends of the Shaker Library.
