Geiser’s photographs in this exhibition attempt to be beautiful objects to look at, while also being examples of how we can let the "known unknown"enter into the art-making process. Geiser uses vintage film cameras and very small formats and his only control of the photograph being what he sees through the viewfinder. Many of his images are quite abstract upon first glance and require the viewer to spend time taking them in. A free opening reception will be held on Sept.12, 6-8 pm. Geiser will give an artist's talk at 6:45 p.m. Wayne Center for the Arts is open Monday - Friday, 9 to 9, and Saturday, 9 to 4.
