The modern graphic novel meets the Victorian-era toy theatre! Cleveland’s Ingenuity Fest co-presents a film that was to have been shown during their festival in July—but had to be postponed at the last minute. It’s a new adaptation of Dante’s literary classic enacted by hand-drawn paper puppets and voiced by Dermot Mulroney, James Cromwell, and others. The film takes viewers on a singular tour of an underworld that looks a lot like 21st-century America, full of familiar faces. “The unholy offspring of Mike Judge and R. Crumb.” –The L.A. Times.
