From our founder Lynda Meeks: In the interest of supporting networking, entrepreneurship, the Lakewood community and a local website, the Lakewood Entrepreneur Group and LakewoodBuzz.com have created an exclusive online partnership with LakewoodBiz.com. I think this will be a great way to continue networking while doing all we can to support our local business community!
I've been asked several times why I don't arrange for speakers and have an agenda to follow, etc. etc. Well, this is a "meetup" group! There are so many opportunities in Cleveland to attend seminars and speeches, which I often attend. But within my usual circle of friends, there are very few opportunities to just exchange thoughts and ideas on business with people on a casual basis (no need to wear a suit or skirt while awkwardly juggling a glass of wine and a plate of hors d'oeuvres here). Oh, and I'm busy enough already to not be able to added such tasks to my plate. However, if you know of someone who might be a good source of information for the group, bring them along. At this meetup there are no sales pitches or lectures. This is an opportunity for everyone to get out of the house and mingle with others who have been/are/will be in your entrepreneurial shoes?
