What does it take to be a medical professional? Find out at Junior Medical Camp, week long day camps at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History. These camps offered for students in grades 3-10 are fun, and informative, hand-on labs and experiments that explore the science behind medicine and health. Campers will become disease detectives, practicing laboratory techniques used by microbiologist to identify bacteria and uncovering how infectious microorganisms are spread. They will even learn about the immune system and medicines to learn about how the body fights disease.
Sessions are available for students in grades 3-10, grade levels as of fall 2009. The cost $250 for nonmembers and $225 for members of The Cleveland Museum of Natural History. Scholarships may be available for qualified applicants. For full details, please contact the Education Division.
