What would it have been like to live hundreds of years ago in places like the Great Plains, Arctic or southwestern desert? What would you have eaten; what clothing would you have worn and what type of home might you have lived in? The native peoples of North America adapted to these different environments by using the plants, animals, water and land around them. During our Adventure Camp, we will learn about many of the American Indian groups that lived and still live throughout North America. We will play games, construct homes, re-create "artifacts" and more. Our galleries and outdoor areas will all be used during this weeklong adventure.
