Celebrate the history and heritage of the Appalachian Mountains with music and folklore shared by Brett and Serenity Ridgeway. Much of our Appalachian history and customs are preserved in song and music. Many Scottish and Irish ballads brought over by the early settlers were better preserved here than in their own lands of origin! This traditional music has inspired, comforted, and helped many folks through the hard times of life. Experience the sounds of the Appalachians on hammered dulcimer, fiddle, banjo, Appalachian dulcimer and more. Audience participation is welcome and encouraged. The workshop begins with an informal pizza dinner (the first 30 minutes of the program). The cost of the pizza is included in the workshop price.
Maximum group size is 60.
