Celebrate the International Year of Astronomy! Discover easy techniques to teach big astronomy concepts, like rotation, orbits, apparent motion, moon phases, seasons, star life cycles, constellations, light pollution and more. Participate in hands-on classroom activities aligned with elementary and middle school science standards. An evening session will allow you to find out what you can see in the night sky with your eyes, binoculars and observatory telescope. To register, contact Lake Erie College at 440-375-7168.
Session meets Tuesday from 8 am - 4 pm and Wednesday from 5 pm - 10 pm for nighttime activities and observatory use.
