Do you want to experience rhythms and flavors from Latin America and help support minorities improve their lives through quality workforce programs?
Then, mark your calendar for our first annual TASTE LATINO, Thursday, July 23, 6pm at Nighttown, Cleveland Heights.
El Barrio, the Workforce Development Center of Excellence of the West Side Ecumenical Ministry (WSEM) helps more than 1,100 adults and youth each year obtain self-sustaining jobs through supportive services, free training and certifications and/or educational programs, but we can only do this with your support.
The economy has left many of our neighbors, co-workers and family members unemployed. Thus far this year, we at El Barrio Workforce Development Center, a program of West Side Ecumenical Ministry (WSEM), have seen a 30 percent increase in individuals seeking our services. Now more than ever, we have an obligation to point our limited resources in directions where they will make the most impact.
At Taste Latino, attendees will enjoy the rhythms and flavors of various Latin American countries while helping a worthy cause. Event admission is $75 and includes deliciously authentic Latin cuisine and live music infused with the warmth of the Latin American culture. All funds raised will benefit El Barrio (WSEM Nonprofit Tax Identification # 23-7034175).
Join us at Nighttown and help us help Clevelanders in need.
Individual tickets are $75 per person and will include heavy appetizers and 2 drinks.
Corporate sponsorhips are also available at $2,000, $1,000 and $500 and include tickets and corporate recognition at the event.
