Csárdás Dance Company Announces 15th Anniversary Performance

Csárdás Dance Company is delighted to announce it’s 15th anniversary celebration. Csardas is a professional organization presenting traditional and contemporary works stemming from Hungarian heritage. The organization was founded in 1994 by former director’s Richard Graber and Christopher Smith. Over the last 15 years, Csárdás Dance Company has enriched the lives of thousands of people with colorful main-stage performances, educational “informance” presentations in schools, and with a myriad of community outreach initiatives. The company has performed in venues in across northeast Ohio, in neighboring states and in Hungary on numerous occasions. Csárdás Dance Company will present a dinner/dance performance on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 6:00 pm at the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church, 15300 Puritas Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44135. The evening will consist of a Chicken Paprikas dinner, followed by a performance which will feature current Csardas members as well as alumni performers. Guests are encouraged to participate in “free-style” dancing following the performance. Tickets for the event are $20 for adults and $15 for children (14 and under).
