CLEVELAND – Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) is hosting the third annual Veterans Resource Fair from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on July 29 at the Tri-C Metro Campus gymnasium, 2900 Community College Avenue in Cleveland. The event is free and open to veterans, family and Tri-C students. Free parking is available in Lots 5 and 6.
The purpose of the fair, sponsored by Tri-C Veteran Services and Programs and Veterans Upward Bound/TRIO, is to connect U.S. veterans, reservists and their families to educational, health care, benefits and community service providers in Northeast Ohio. More than 300 people attended last year’s fair. The Veterans Fair intends to foster a sense of community among veterans and assist veterans and their families during transition. The event will include community support services; housing support/benefits; health/social services; GI-Bill, financial aid, college program and admission information; seminars; free health screenings; food and refreshments; raffle and music.
