Geoffrey Mearns, dean of Cleveland State University's Marshall College of Law, will discuss his experience as co-counsel on the case of Anthony Harris, a twelve-year-old boy who was wrongfully convicted of murder based on a false confession. He will discuss the role of the police and the prosecutor in extracting the false confession and his work as an attorney during the appeal process.
