Cleveland’s own Burning River Roller Girls will skate in their hometown for the 2010 season, hitting the track (and each other) inside the Burt L. and Iris S. Wolstein Center.
The center, in the heart of downtown on the Cleveland State University campus, is conveniently located near three major highways. Concerts, university events and sporting events routinely pack the venue, which can hold up to 14, 000 people.
Burning River fans will find a comfortable new home with great views of the hard-hitting action, plentiful parking and jumbotron screens for close ups of your favorite skaters.
The move is a testament to the league’s growth and increasing awareness and recognition for roller derby as a sport. The roller girls can’t wait to skate in their new home and see familiar fans and new faces in the crowd at the Wolstein Center!
