Our Ecological Commitment
Earth Day Coalition strives to minimize the ecological impact of all our special events. In partnership with our generous sponsors and community partners, Earth Day Coalition is working very hard to make this evening’s celebration as people and planet friendly as possible. Stay tuned for details on 2009's Climate Change Solutions. Last year saw the use of fully-recyclable plates, cups, and other dinner-ware, a comprehensive recycling plan led by student's at Garrett Morgan High School (only 2 small bags of unrecycled garbage were generated by over 350 guests!), the serving of wine from the world's only solar-powered vineyard, and wind energy credits were used to offset power consumed during the event.

Community Partners and Hosts
Other sponsors of the event include: WCLV 104.9 Classical FM. Balanced Living Magazine, Cleveland Scene, EcoWatch Ohio, and The Cleveland Orchestra.

This year’s event will be hosted by Rebecca Reynolds of Green Clean and Planet Green, local artist and interactive media expert Ann Marie Bergman, and Bill O'Connell of WCLV 104.9 FM Radio.

Funds to Benefit Real Education
We at Earth Day work tirelessly to secure donations for all aspects of our events, especially the Instrumental Evening for the Earth benefit. Because we do not contract out the organizing of our benefit or make unnecessary purchases of any kind, you can rest assure that your ticket money and all donations made during the event will directly benefit the year-round environmental education and leadership programs of Earth Day Coalition.
