Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute On November 7, 2009, The Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative will host its 10th Annual "An Evening with Scott Hamilton and Friends," one of Cleveland's premier and most elegant celebrity events. The event will combine outstanding figure skating talent accompanied by Cheap Trick, who are known for classics such as "I Want You to Want Me" and "Surrender," and the Cleveland Pops Orchestra, conducted by Carl Topilow.

This year, "An Evening with Scott Hamilton and Friends" will represent a historic moment in sports when Olympic ice-skating champion Scott Hamilton makes his return to the ice at age 51 after more than 5 years since his last performance.
Following the ice show, gala guests are escorted to the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel for a black-tie evening featuring gourmet dining and dancing to live music.
The goal for this event is to raise funds for The Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative at Cleveland Clinic Taussig Cancer Institute and to address Scott’s biggest concerns: cancer education, research, and survivorship. Sponsorship
