Not shy about their love of a good hook, this five-piece project from Cleveland Heights, OH features girl/guy leads and gritty, guitar-driven tunes with a smattering of keys in the mix. It’s what they call “Music to move you and to make you want to move.” “We just want to make good music—something people can connect to,” said lead vocalist, Dave Douglas. After leaving his band, Relient K in 2008, Douglas decided to head back to the pop-rock music he loved and created ATTACK CAT with girl-lead, Red and drummer Josh Young. Their debut record When the Moon Was Big, releasing Nov. 3, features 8-tracks of emotionally charged, quality-produced, pop-rock with a punchy edge.
