2009 - 11/07 - White Denim / Brazos / Mother Country Madmen- 8pm $10 Based out of Austin, Texas, White Denim began when two local bands played a show together in 2005. James Petralli, Joshua Block and Lucas Anderson of Parque Touch asked Steve Terebecki to join their band. In 2006, Anderson moved to Russia and the band changed their name to White Denim. They self-released their first EP, Let's Talk About it, in 2007. Their debut album, The Workout Holiday, was released by the UK label Full Time Hobby. Their US debut was 2008's Exposion. Their most recent album, Fits, was released in the UK in June of this year with a US release date (on Downtown Records) planned for October. Though the band's sound is hard to pin down, they are heavily influenced by garage rock, dub and experimental rock and are known for their unusual song structures.
