The newly formed TC’s Promise Foundation will hold its inaugural fundraising event – a Sound Check Party and Concert – on Sunday, November 8 at the Beachland Ballroom, 15711 Waterloo Rd.
The foundation, which will endow a scholarship to the Lincoln Electric Welding School for a young adult coming out of foster care in Northeast Ohio, was formed by Julie and Chris Ilcin. It is named in honor of their son Therlow Cash “TC” Ilcin, who passed away just 12 hours after being born in 2008.
