Winter Discovery Camps at The Children's Museum of Cleveland   Summer Discovery Camps have been an educational and entertaining experience at The Children's Museum for hundreds of children.  Now you can have this same great experience in the winter!   Winter Discovery Camps are designed for children ages 4-6.  This year's camps are offered over three days, December 28, 29 & 30. An optional Lunch Bunch! session is available Noon to 2 pm daily. Camps include themed art projects, science experiments, SANDasaurus exploration and free-play in the exhibit galleries. Dinosaur Dig December 28 9 am - Noon Become an archeologist at The Children's Museum of Cleveland! We will be using our very own paleontologist tools to uncover dinosaur bones and learn interesting facts about what happened to these extinct giants.  Art-a-Saurus December 29 9 am - Noon Come use your imagination and creativity as we go on a journey to name and create our very own dinosaur sculptures. We will decide what our dinosaurs ate, how they defended themselves, and where they lived. Take home your dinosaur creation at the end of the day! Fossilized Fun December 30 9 am - Noon Join us as we take a look into the world of fossils! We will create and pour our very own plaster fossils and discuss the history that is hidden in these amazing artifacts! ENROLLMENT COST: $30 per day for members $35 per day for non-members $80 for a three day member package $90 for a three day non-member package $10 additional dollars for each day of Lunch Bunch *Note: Cancellations made prior to 14 days before the start of camp will be refunded (minus a $5 processing fee). Changes will be charged a $5 processing fee. OPENING DECEMBER 12, 2009   Grab your backpack and tools and become a paleontologist as you search through more than 70 tons of sand for fossil clues about ancient life in SANDasaurus - the Museum's annual sand exhibit.

Offering a variety of hands-on, family-oriented exhibits and programming, The Children’s Museum of Cleveland is ‘the’ Northeast Ohio destination and resource for all young children, parents and caregivers to engage in fun, innovative, interactive play that accelerates the child’s creativity, development and education. The Children's Museum is located at 10730 Euclid Avenue in University Circle. The Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Regular admission is $6.00 for adults; $7.00 for children ages 1 to 12 years; infants 11 months and under and members enter free.
