Eco-Rangers
Grade: Entering Grades 6 through 8 • 9 am to 3 pm plus one overnight
Eco-Rangers is a perfect fi t for the camper who isn’t quite ready for a week-long overnight experience or to help a camper prepare for the Eco-Adventures camp. Campers travel by van to off-site locations on Wednesday and Thursday. Bring a backpack, change of clothes, water
bottle and lunch in a reusable container each day.

Biking Adventure
CAMP CODE: ER2
Monday, June 25 – Friday, June 29
Enjoy hiking and exploring at its best around the Nature Center, as well as two days in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Hike to and through waterfalls, become skilled on how to properly cross a stream and many more hiking techniques. We will bicycle on the Towpath to see how bikes can be incorporated into camping adventures. Learn the basics of carcamping
including setting up a tent, cooking on a dual burner camp stove and building a campfi re, all within the guidelines set by the National Parks. Campers will camp in CVNP campgrounds on Wednesday night near the
former youth hostel. Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast and lunch are provided. A packing list for the overnight will be made by the group the week of camp. $285 members, $305 non-members (includes bike rental fee).

Climbing to New Heights!
CAMP CODE: ER6
Monday, July 23 – Friday, July 27
Do you like to rock climb and hike? If so, then this is the trip for you. Not only will we spend time hiking in the Doan Brook gorge and practice our rock climbing skills, but part of our adventures will take us climbing
within the Hinckley Reservation, led by the Cleveland Rock Gym. Learn the basics of tent camping including setting up a tent, cooking on a dual burner camp stove and building a campfi re, all within the guidelines set by the National Parks. Campers will camp in campgrounds close to Hinckley Reservation on Wednesday night. Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast and lunch are provided. A packing list for the overnight will be made by
the group the week of camp. $335 members $355, non-members (includes climbing fees and gear rental).

Survivor!
CAMP CODE: EN8
Monday, August 6 – Friday, August 10
Learn orienteering, wilderness fi rst aid, fire skills and much more. Spend a day kayaking on the Upper Cuyahoga River. Learn how to pack for a wilderness backpacking and float trip adventure. How to pick a safe wilderness campsite, set up a tent, cook using a camping stove and tying knots are just a few skills that you will attain. Test your new and improved skills in challenges throughout the week. Campers will camp outside at Camp Hi after kayaking on Wednesday. Wednesday dinner,
Thursday breakfast and lunch are provided. A packing list for the overnight will be made by the group the week of camp. $285 members,
$305 non-members.
