Most people think of 990s and other financial documents as compliance tools that are also required attachments for grant submissions. But there is a wealth of information in these documents that you can use to help tell your story to donors and funders. Join us for a presentation from Kevin Crum, CPA and Mitchell Wasserman as they walk you through these documents and share how you can use your financial information tell the story of your organization.

Kevin Crum, CPA, Managing Principal, Crum, Buchanan & Associates Mitchell, Wasserman, President, Wasserman Consulting Group, Inc
Kevin Crum is the managing principal of Crum, Buchanan & Associates, a Certified Public Accounting Firm in Fairlawn that specializes in non-profit organizations. Kevin hast 23 years of experience in managing audit, tax, accounting, financial and management advisory engagements in the non-profit sector.
Kevin is a graduate of Leadership Akron and currently serves as Chair of the County of Summit, Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board.
Kevin is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science is accounting and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants
Mitchell Wasserman, President of the Wasserman Consulting Group, Inc., has 25 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, marketing, communications, public relations, sales and fundraising for his clients.
Mitch has served as the chief fundraising executive and marketing officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland, Cleveland Scholarship Programs, and Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland. He established the Wasserman Consulting Group in 2009, bringing insight and passion to every assignment with which he has been engaged. Mitch is a member of the visiting committee of Case Western Reserve University’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, the boards of trustees of the Jewish National Fund, the Association of Fundraising Professionals and Jewish Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
Mitch received his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in health systems management from CWRU’s Weatherhead School of Management and his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwestern University.
